A lot of times you get a feature, and it’s just you and that other artist. I wanted to see if I could bring something different to the game, see if I can force people to follow my trend.”

Keyshia Cole’s “Heaven Sent” continues its rule over Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for an eighth week at #1. “Heaven Sent” also retains it’s spot at #32 this week on the Billboard Hot 100.

“Heaven Sent” starts a seventh week at No. 1 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and #32 on Hot 100.

Just Like You sits at #77 on Top 200 Albums.

Definitely avoiding the sophomore jinx, Grammy-nominated and award-winning Geffen Records superstar singer/songwriter, Keyshia Cole, continues to deliver the hits with her third (3rd) #1 single, “Heaven Sent,” from her near-double-platinum-selling sophomore album, Just Like You. “Heaven Sent” currently sits atop Billboard’s “Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs” and “Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay” charts.

The coveted #1 spot is nothing new to the chart-topping Oakland native as “Heaven Sent” follows two (2) #1 singles from Just Like You: “Let It Go,” and “I Remember.” The single is the 7th #1 hit song at radio from Keyshia Cole over the past two years. Other #1s include “Love” and “I Should Have Cheated” from her platinum-selling debut The Way It Is, and the collaborations, “Last Night” and “Give It Up To Me,” with Diddy and Sean Paul respectively.

Keyshia Cole is currently in the studio recording her third (3rd) yet-untitled CD to be released late 2008 and is gearing up for a soon-to-be announced tour. While she will soon start taping the 3rd season of her hit BET reality show, “The Way It Is,” the second (2nd) season is the highest rated program in the network’s history. The straight-from-the-soul singer is also gearing up to shoot a film based on her life and while recording her third (3rd) disc, a tenacious Keyshia Cole, takes time out to crisscross the globe with shows from Jamaica to Kansas City.

Keyshia has just received another R&B number one hit with “Heaven Sent!” In addition, the song is currently sitting at #33 after a 9 spot jump on the Billboard Hot 100. Congrats go out to Keysh and Imani Entertainment. Keep requesting!

Heaven Sent jumped 15 spots on the Billboard Hot 100 from #57 to #42 after only 5 weeks. The single remains at a steady position of #3 on the Billboard R&B chart. Remember to request the single on your local radio station, or DL it via iTunes!

Last night, I had the extreme pleasure of seeing Keyshia live once again. The show was amazing and Keysh looked beautiful. She ran through a lengthy set list and was on stage for about an hour. The highlight of the night was when she made two very exciting announcements. As we already know, Keyshia has been in talks to tour with Lil Wayne, and last night she officially confirmed it to a sold out crowd in Buffalo NY! Keyshia also stated that she had just wrapped up a brand new song with Wayne in NYC. In other news, “Heaven Sent” is currently sitting at #3 on the Billboard R&B charts after ONLY 8 weeks.
