The charity single (the entry I posted a few days) has finally been broadcasted. The song features various celebrities including Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Fergie, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Melissa Etheridge, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Keyshia Cole, Ciara, Leona Lewis, Leann Rimes, and Carrie.

Backstage at 106 & Park, Keyshia donned a “Respect My Vote” tee in support of T.I.’s national campaign. The campaign urges eligible voters to participate in the upcoming presidential election. Of the program, Clifford Harris states, “I can’t vote. So I said, Okay, if I’m going to have to be minus my own vote then the least I could do was urge the masses’. Keyshia stopped by during 106 and Park’s 2000th Show Celebration. During her segment, she explained that she’s hard at work on her new album which is slated for a December 08 release! R&B superstars Beyonce, Rihanna, Keyshia Cole, Ciara and Mariah Carey have teamed up to record a charitable song called “Just Stand Up” in support of the “Stand Up to Cancer Fundraising Campaign”

Daily Variety reports “Just Stand Up” also features Ashanti, Fergie, Leona Lewis and Miley Cyrus.

The song was produced by Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and Antonio “L.A.” Reid and will be available on iTunes on September 2nd.

Profits gained from the single will be used to support cancer research.

In addition, “Just Stand Up” will be performed live during the “Stand Up to Cancer” telethon which will air simultaneously on ABC, CBS and NBC on September 5th.
